Nashville Newborn Portraits
Whew. Y’all. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was to come into the studio and do these newborn photos at just 9 and 11 days after Brady’s birth. I was still considerably sore from surgery and exhausted from lack of sleep, but of course, I had to capture all his beautiful newness! My husband Tim got to assist me the first day and he got to see what a day with me on the job was like. He learned how much patience it takes in working with newborns, especially ours when the baby could smell me. LOL. In my 9 years of newborn photography, he had never got to see me do my thing so that made it fun! We set up the studio for the shoot and did all the prop shots that day. That kind of wore me out with all the bending over and I didn’t want to overdo it so I decided to come back another day.
The second day, my mom came to the studio with me and hung out with me and Brady. I did all the posing on the white blanket that day while Grandma spotted him.
On day 13 we brought the kids in for some photos with Brady. We managed to pull off a few decent shots out of all that madness. Lol. Pictures with four kiddos are always fun right! 🙂
I am so glad that no matter how hard it was to get out of the house and get these done, that I have them. Brady is already 2 months old this week and I look back at these images and he already looks so tiny to me. My last little babe. The nights may be long mamas but the days sure go fast!
